Dorian Rhodes vs Texas Terry James
Dorian Rhodes enters the ring of OW against “Texas” Terry James on night number four of the Outlaw Grand Prix. When Dorian steps between those ropes against the Wild Buck’s frenemy things will get complicated. Terry James is the veteran with more experience and a vital stance for being in Outlaw Wrestling. He’s got a rivalry, a nemesis, and a grudge to settle.
Texas Terry you’re going to need to bring all of that hatred, all of that rage, every single ounce of blood pumping through your veins. Dorian Rhodes may not be the envy of your eye but he’s not to be overlooked either. He wants to prove he’s the best against Outlaw’s best and that’s the Wild Buck.
The camera opens to that of Dorian Rhodes standing in the front lawn of an unknown residence. He’s holding a water hose and as he waters the grass he looks towards the OW camera on location.
“By the time we step between those ropes you and me would have both faced Kodo Dragon and Latoya Hixx. We’ll both be tested by the same two individuals.
How will you fair? I don’t know yet but I can tell you that I’ll be two and zero. Going into the final night of the tour I’ll be standing at four and zero and as the Outlaw World Champion.
We both know that you don’t have what it takes Terry. You’re a lost cause we both know that. It not a secret why Jesse dropped you as a partner so long ago. Now you’re just a bitter old man trying to hold onto something he’ll never actually be able to accomplish.
Dorian turns the water hose to some flowers at the edge of the house.
I have some words of advice for you Terry. I think you should listen to the youngster.
After our match in San Antonio and as you walk down the isle back to the locker rooms. Say your last goodbyes to that ring, to those fans, and too your career. When you make your way to the backstage area and you take a seat to pull off those boot and change into your street clothes. Leave the boots in the locker room for some youngster in need.”
The water hose changes from a full flow to that of just a trickle. Dorian looks back and notices a kink in the hose. He drops the hose and shuts off the water.
“Sometimes life imitates our surrounds and just like this water hose stopped flowing because of a twist in it’s line. I’m gonna twist you into a kinked pile of old bones and lost dreams. You’re just the kind of guy who had dreams more than he had ability.
Terry, I’d suggest that you crawl back to Jesse and ask for a job on the ring crew. Leave the fighting to the young guns.”
Dorian Rhodes, grins, laughs, and walks away.
